How Neos Global
Adapts Post-Brexit

With the advent of Brexit, the landscape of international trade has undergone significant changes. Previously, as part of the EU Single Market, goods flowed freely between the UK and EU member states without customs duties or tariffs. However, post-Brexit, these charges have become necessary to regulate trade between the UK and the EU.

As a furniture manufacturer and retailer, Neos Global understands the challenges faced by our customers when it comes to navigating customs charges. In this article, we will shed light on why Brexit has introduced customs charges and provide a step-by-step overview of our ordering process to help you make informed decisions.

Our Ordering Process
At Neos Global, we strive to make the ordering process as seamless as possible for our customers, ensuring transparency and providing clarity regarding customs charges. Here is a step-by-step overview of our ordering process:

  1. Placing the Order: Customers can easily browse our extensive collection of dining tables, chairs, sofas, and bookshelves on our website (www.neosglobal.co). Once they have made their selection, they can proceed to place their order on our webshop (www.eu.neosglobal.co). They will automatically receive an order confirmation by email.
  2. Making The Payment: Our Finance team will then get in touch with them shortly to send them the invoice (without VAT) and our bank details. The order is sent out to the Operations Team as soon as we get the payment.
  3. Custom Charges: Please note that during the delivery process, our forwarding agent in the UK will contact you, invoicing the English VAT and their custom charges which are approximately 2% of the total cost of our invoice. That needs to be paid as soon as possible to facilitate the smooth clearance of the shipment and ensure the prompt delivery of the goods.
  4. Delivery: We maintain a majority of our products in stock in the North of France, enabling us to deliver the goods within a timeframe of 4 to 5 weeks only. However, the actual lead time is also dependent on the promptness of payment made by the customers to clear the goods at customs. We offer a streamlined delivery service that focuses on prompt and efficient transportation of your goods. Prior to the scheduled delivery date, our team will reach out to ensure your availability to receive the goods.
  5. Installation: While we do not provide a white glove delivery service that includes installation, we handle the delivery process to your home address FOC. Rest assured, our carriers will handle the unloading of the goods for you. However, it is your responsibility to carefully inspect all boxes upon delivery to ensure they are free from damage. In the unlikely event that any damage is present, we kindly request you to take clear pictures of the damaged packaging and label. If you decide to hire someone for the installation of your table, please note that we cannot be held responsible for any incidents or issues that may occur during or after the installation process. We strive to provide quality products and reliable delivery, and we appreciate your understanding regarding the installation aspect. A clear assembly manual in included in the packages.

Neos Global is committed to assisting our customers through this transition. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our sales team at [email protected]. We are here to help! By understanding these processes, our customers can make informed decisions and experience a hassle-free buying experience with Neos Global.

Thank you for choosing Neos Global, you are once again supporting Campus&Co. and contributing to the education of our children.
